Servicing

A Basic 'Wax and Edge' Service includes the following:

• Deep cleaning to remove old wax from base.
• Side wall edge sharpening
• Base edge sharpening
• Top sheet cleaned and polished (If possible - assessed on drop off)
• Hot wax applied and scraped from the base
• Please speak with someone in store or contact us prior to drop off regarding any specific edge angles or temperature specific wax.

A Standard service includes the following:

• Deep cleaning to remove old wax from base
• Side wall edge sharpening
• Base edge sharpening
• Removal of 'imperfections' in base edge
• Wintersteiger treatment - Run Skis/Board through up to 3 different grades of belt to smooth base
• Removal of 'imperfections' in base of Skis/Board
• Top sheet cleaned and polished (If possible - assessed on drop off)
• Hot wax applied and scraped from the base
• Please speak with someone in store or contact us prior to drop off regarding any specific edge angles or temperature specific wax.

We do offer repairs to both Skis and Snowboards, please contact us or visit us in store to receive a quote for your repair.

Plant-Based

MountainFLOW's line of eco-friendly ski and snowboard waxes are all made from plants. Whereas most ski wax is made from petroleum, created as a by-product of the oil refining process, their wax contains 0% petroleum.

As your skis slide on the snow, small pieces of the wax are pulled out of your bases and into the snow and mountain environment. With a traditional ski wax, toxic chemicals such as petroleum and/or fluorocarbon particles are transported into the snowpack and eventually into the watershed. With mountainFLOW’s wax, only pieces of all-natural, plant wax are introduced into the environment.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

Their Eco-Clamshells (wax packaging) are biodegradable and made from 100% recycled material.
